Updates in Progress

We're in the process of updating some things around here. You'll shortly see new precis for No Country for Old Men, The Road, and The Sunset Limited.

We've already added a few items to the Bookshop, both are items that were formerly available and never made the transition to the new Bookshop system. The famed Judge Holden t-shirt from the 199 San Antonio Conference and Peter Josyph's poster from the 1998 El Paso conference are once again available. Please remember that all proceeds from sales of these items go directly towards Society activities. We urge you to act soon because supplies, as they say, are limited.

Incidentally, we appear to be having some sort of email trouble. There's a change in the works there, too. But at the moment, we cannot receive any email to any of the cormacmcarthy.com accounts.

Updates Pending

For the many of you who have inquired about updates to the site, check the Works page. We expect to have summaries of the recent works available soon; also note that we've updated the link there to provide more information about the Cormac McCarthy Collection at the University of Texas San Marcos.

Also, we're going to begin adding updated dates to the more scholarly pages on the site as they're modified. Many of the pages, such as the summaries of older works, change only rarely, so these dates will not appear consistently throughout the site. If a page on this site does not contain an updated date at the bottom, assume that it has not been changed since before April 3, 2008. Not all pages will display the updated stamp; there's no need for it on the Bookshop pages, for example. Forum posts are already dated, as are these blog entries on the main page.
